Did CA change somthing? I thought 50BMG anything was ilegal

Centerfire 50 cal. is illegal. That's why Barrett has the .416. There was actually some idiot that wanted to ban single shot flintlock and percussion rifles over 50 cal. I had a chance to buy a full-auto version for $4,000 back in 1985....
Actually, I'd prefer the semi-auto version anyway, but the only reason I'd really want it would just be the "because I can" factor, and the even-more-important "because it makes Lib-Progs wet themselves"...
