As many of you here know, I also collect cartridges, and have off and on for the better part of almost 40 years. I recently placed on order with a company called "Ammo One" (www.ammo-one.com). David Call is the owner, and a real nice gentleman. I've ordered from him in the past.
Here is what came in yesterday:
Left to right:
.22 TCM
.38 Short rimfire (used in early Colt 1851 conversions)
.41 Long rimfire
.44 Short rimfire (or ".44 Short Colt", used in early Colt 1860 conversions)
.455 Webley Mark II
.204 Ruger
5.7 x 28mm
6.5 Creedmoor
6.8 Remington SPC
.300 AAC Blackout
.300 Whisper
.450 Bushmaster
.458 SOCOM
.50 Beowulf
The latter seven (7) cartridges are all alternative rounds for the AR-15 platform.
Nice additions, of course you realise you also require a firearm in all those calibers.....
I'm still looking for that 14 gauge shot shell for you but no luck so far...
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
Kid,
In addition to guns, cartridge collecting is also a fine hobby. When I first started back in the early seventies, I used to go to gunshows and beings I had no money for guns I bought all the cartridges I could get. Old time dealers would have all of these organized trays of every conceivable cartridge ever known to man. Prices were usually .50 to a dollar for the old time Winchester cartridges and up to about 3-5 dollars for original Sharps, rimfire Henry's, Maynard's, and other weird stuff. I still have it all...several thousand singles, including about every rimfire ever made
Let me know if you need anything in particular.----6

I will do so!
I started attending gun shows about 33 years ago. Used to have several tables of folks showing and selling cartridges. Like you, this was often all I could afford, so I hit those tables quite a bit. I really enjoy the history and novelty of a lot of the rounds.
Sadly, I can't recall the last gun show I attended that had even a one vendor of single cartridges for collectors. There is one guy who shows up once every few years at the Dixie Gun show in Charlotte, but it is a hit or miss for sure.
Kid,
Once a year, in Denver, PENNSYLVANIA, there is a show just for cartridge collectors. It usually happens in August and is advertised. I attend this show and I see just as much money exchanging hands as I do in QUALITY gunshows. There will be mint boxes of 44-40's and (about everything) made in the 1870's so forth. One guy always has a huge display (for sale) of Marbles adapter cartridges for shooting little shells out of big rifles. I have a half dozen or so. It's a place to wheel and deal or just buy the old cartridges. I go every year...if you get the energy and time, come on up.------6

If you remember his name/business or whatever, I'd be interested in if he sells any of them mail-order or internet...
