Not a drafting tool but a paint striper. The loop on the side slides on a wire or rod to paint a straight line.

I was a draftsman 50 years ago and I've never seen one used for inking though I suppose it's possible. Ink on Mylar is my favorite medium. Of course when I started teaching in 1980 everything went to computers. CAD was all anyone wanted to learn.

JC Whitney pinstriping tool. Had one when I was in high school, and they didn't work at all.

"Paint Striper". Not as "fancy as a Pin Striping brush, with fine lines, but it laid out even lines the width of the roller. Kits came with different size rollers. I used one in the '60s to stripe a Powell AV-8 scooter...
