A while back I asked the Texas guys for advice for my daughter who was interviewing private school jobs in N.Dallas.
Well the Dallas job fell through, but she was contacted by the "best" private school in Fort Worth, low turnover, been there for ever, real nice folks and kids. Long story short, she starts her new adventure in August. Just thought I'd give an update for the guys nice enough to respond. Thanks

Re: Texas bound, sort of..
My congratulations to your daughter!
WRTthe location:
1. This sounds like a great first job for a recent college graduate and should provide a good starting place for her carreer.
2. Fort Worth is closer than Dallas to much of the good hunting in central , south, and west Texas and can save her an hour or more of drive time to those places. This could be a real benefit when you come doen to visit and hunt.

Congratulations to your daughter. Ft. Worth has a real nice Cabela's on 35W up just a little North of the racetrack. The Railhead Smokehouse is pretty good for barbecue. Plenty of shopping and places to go over there. She should not have a difficult time looking for anything she wants. If she needs furniture, there is an Ikea in Frisco, TX. It will be over 40 miles one way, but they do have decent furniture as long as you are willing to put it together yourself. There is a good zoo in Ft. Worth, and the stockyards have a lot of entertainment. There aren't many places in the DFW metroplex which would be considered bad places to live. There are a few. South Oak Cliff is an area where I do not go at night.
Your Daughter should have a good time living in Ft. Worth. If she needs some help, you know that she could post it on here and probably get a helping hand.
