Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. It's now in North Carolina, just outside of Camp Lejeune. "The Gunny" a 6'2" former Marine DI threatened me with a vertical butt stroke if I did not immediately pass it on to him.

As he was standing 1 foot from me and you were ...wherever truckers go......I figured I'd be able to enjoy my upcoming retirement much better in one piece than with the idle threat coming from a 500 horsepower Cat...you know...all smoke and mirrors and 300 rpm on the idle.:D ( hey, I'm getting pretty good at this BS thingy) :D

Well, seriously, the Great Western WAS in North Carolina but is now in Wellsboro, Pa at Gunny's summer residence. It's about a 5 hour drive for me but I'm leaving in about 20 minutes to retrieve it for you. Should be enough time to drive up there and be at work at 6am.

Hold your breath...real tight....I'll get it for ya!

For real Griff, he saw it last summer and there was no way he was leaving here without it. Funny thing, I never did see any money.----6

Turtleman, what you wrote ain't NOTHIN'!
Keep in mind I load tractor trailers for a living and have for the past 43 years so I've seen and heard it all.

You say standing up and whizzing in a bottle? Nothin'

My good ex friend (ex because he sold his 53' box and bought a flatbed for steel) Jimmy Price of Fitz Trucking was telling me a few years back that he pulled out of Freehold, N.J. And HAD to be in NYC in an hour or so. Yea, he HAD to take a major dump while going through those "every 50' N.J. toll booths" so he told me he did the common sense thing......while he was in 9th gear...holding 30 mph, he dropped his pants and dropped off a Michele Obama in a convenience store plastic bag and because he was in New Jersey and no one would know the difference, he just winged it out the window and dang if the bag didn't hit another truck coming the other way.

He told me it was so crowded with traffic that it was easy to get away with but later he heard at a truck stop the other trucker was stopped for a big brown grease spot on his windshield. (I think that part was bs)

I could write a book on truckers stories. Griff.....let's hear some.---6

Naw, they're best left at the truckstop, or other places truckers hang out... the only difference between fairy tales and trucker stories is that fairy tales start out, "...once upon a time." And trucker stories start out, "... this ain't no..."

I'd rather be discussing that "new-to-me" derringer that became "new-to-someone-else." BTW, what brand was that, so I can start my search for a lower priced replacement to MY derringer. Or, if you prefer, tell us about what new toy you got to play with from you buddy at the range.

Sixgun I have made 256 from 357, but I just wanted 10-20 properly headstamped cases just for my AR-P syndrome. I make my cases out of 223 and have rimless 256 ammo.
What happens at the truckstop is best left there. Its fun to park early and watch people back in and park. Its great cheap entertainment while prepping cases.
