For those who may have missed it, here's the thread with the original info on Miss Twyla's recent illness. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=65980
I just received notice from Jim that she's crossed over. I know he can use the prayer support still. Losing one's life's partner is not easy, to say the least. Here's his note.
My phone wakened me about 1am ... the hospital was calling saying her pulse was dangerously low and I needed to come. When I got there a bit later there was a team working. The doctor came and said she was very low and we would know whether she would make it in the next 30 minutes. About 15 minutes later she was gone. I had told them her wish was not to be resuscitated.
I sat with her awhile .. cried a bit ... got her rings and few things and am back at the guest house. It's going on 3 AM. Tomorrow will be filled with paperwork I am sure.
My daughter Azalea will be here Friday morning. We will figure out how to deal with the decisions that still have to be made.
This part of life ain't any fun.
But I still trust Jesus and His love.
Jim
I'm locking the other thread but will leave the info there for those who might want to contribute to help cover the expenses I'm sure they incurred during this time of trouble. Thank you all for standing with Jim and Twyla during this trial. I look forward to that morning when we'll see each other again, in the land where there will be no parting.
Editing to include the "Go Fund Me" link for those who are asking about it.
Prayers and thoughts go out to to you Jim and your family. I am sorry for your loss.

Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes.
She helped SO many others, I'm sure she will be forever blessed. So has Jim. Prayers up for him to persevere, and continue his calling, wherever it takes him.

Living in a place with inadequate health care infrastructure is just one of the many prices paid by our missionaries. Thank you Jim -- and bless you Twyla.
