Hi--I own a Marlin (JM) 1894 in .357mag, shoots great, easy to carry, and now it's worth $700+. I mention this because I really would like to get a second one but refuse to pay the high price for a used and finding a new REM-Marlin has become difficult.
So, after talking to a friend back-east who just bought a Henry Big Boy Steel in .41mag I decided to order the 16.5" bbl Carbine in .357mag (big-loop lever). I know that the Henry doesn't have a traditional loading gate, but my friend assures me that I might like the reloading tube better, especially when you want to un-load the rifle. He also mentions that the Big Boy comes apart like a Marlin and we both think the receiver might be stronger than a Marlin 1894, we'll see. Also, he said that the Henry .41mag shoots tighter groups than his vintage Marlin 1894 in .41mag
I gave the Rossi M92 a try, but didn't like the way it came apart, way too many parts. I will give a range report when the levergun arrives--here is the link https://www.henryrifles.com/rifles/henry-big-boy-steel/ -- and enjoy the pics... :)

Re: Henry Big Boy Steel Carbine .357 mag
The Henry rifles also come with smooth actions and decent traiggers as compared with some manufacturers of clones of Winchester lever action rifles.I have the Henry .22. and have tried their Big Boy .44 mag and ,357 and none of them required any breaking in at all and proved to be very accurate.
The same was true of my Miroku 1895 .405, but not of my Miroku 1886 which had an 11 pound trigger pull and stiff action which needed gunsmithing to correct. Though I have not owned a Rossi or other clone of the Winchester 1892, there have been many posts about smoothing out those actions and triggers.
Henry definitely has something good going with American made lever action rifles that come ready to use right out of the box.
