My PMs go into my outbox - not my sentbox

My PMs go into my outbox - not my sentbox

What is the difference?

Until April 16 all the PMs I sent went into my sentbox and people responded. Starting on April 17 my PMs went into my outbox and I haven't received a reply. What is going on?

When you first send a PM it will go to your "outbox". It sits there until the recipient opens the message, which then moves it to your "sentbox". This lets you know, even if the recipient does not respond, that they got your message. Slick system! :D

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. The guy I was trying to get in touch with said he would be out of town. I thought he might check his messages but I guess he's too busy.
