More Ruger single actions

I didn't want to hijack this excellent thread on Ruger Blackhawk revolvers (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=65454&p=754400#p754400), so thought I'd start another one. While snapping a photo of my three Blackhawks, I decided to take a picture of all of my Ruger single action revolvers.

Again, I apologize for my lack of photography skills. KirkD I am not! :oops:

From left to right:

Ruger Bearcat in .22 rimfire with Klamath River poly-ivory grips (this is actually Y2K's)
Ruger Single-Six in .22 rimfire (can't recall where I got those grips; I believe ebay!)
Ruger Single-Seven in .32 centerfire (fires .32 ACP, .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum), with elkhorn grips (purchased from our very own OldNo7) :D
Ruger Blackhawk, early model, "flat-top", in .357 Magnum/.38 Special with Klamath River grips (I wish he was still in business)
Ruger Blackhawk in .30 M1 Carbine with a funny carry handle that doubles as a Bushnell Magnum Phantom pistol scope (2.5x)
Ruger Old Army "Horse Pistol" cap & ball black powder revolver, .44-caliber (purchased from rjohns94 here) :D
Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Magnum/.44 Special with American hickory grips (purchased from c.cash here) :D

All except the Single-Seven are "old models". I do like to personalize the grips on my firearms! :D :D :D

What? :wink:

Yes, it turns heads. Kind of like the 7.62 x 25mm Tokarev. It's bark is much worse than its bite!

Very nice bunch. I think the only Ruger I have at the moment is a 22/45 that is still new in the box. Too many of mine haven't been shot lately.

I really like it. Talk about flexibility! Given what it can shoot, I thought it would make a great kit or trail gun, and with the barrel length and stainless steel finish, I couldn't ask for more in this role. I did put on those grips (something I'd swap out for one less costly and more rugged if I was going to head out with it a lot). I also swapped out the standard sights for Williams Fire Sights (my eyes need the help even after the cataract surgery).

Now I just wish I could find more .32 S&W ammo and components!

I have used trimmed 32-20 brass in my 30 carbine Ruger. Shoots pretty good now.
