... went on a business trip last Tuesday. By the time I landed my throat was killing me. The guy sitting beside me was popping Halls cough drops like they were pez candies.
By Thursday I had to go to the Urgent Care. Had missed several customer meetings. No fun being sick while traveling.
By this Monday, with no relief, made a second visit to the doctors, now at home. Sinus infection became bronchitis. Switched antibiotics and now one steroids as well.
Sorry I haven't been around. No energy. Down for the count...

Try taking some purple daisy capsules (usually called Echinacea) for a couple of weeks. They are supposed to boost the immune system temporarily.

Sorry to hear this Jay, I guess flying doesn't help these days, I heard that since the airlines banned smoking the cabin air does not get changed as often. I don't know if that's true but being stuck next to infected passengers can't help.
I take daily zinc & vitamin C tablets plus medicinal Bourbon when necessary... Get well soon Jay.

During my drinking days whenever I had a cold, flu, or anything else, I would drink a half pint of Rock and Rye (Rock candy dissolved in Rye whiskey bottled with a lemon slice and a red cherry), take a couple aspirins and go to bed. I usually woke the next day feeling refreshed and disease free...

Each year it does seem to take more out of me to fight these things. A constant reminder of my youthful impatience (lost my spleen in a car accident decades ago, so I have a weakened immune system).

Or on such a sugar high you didn't realize you were still sick.
