Caught up with this one hanging round the hen house
22 250 did the trick
Some sort of plastic tip boolit, just some I sighted the scope with
Rifle, just the cheap savage from wallyworld, didn't think to put it in the pic
The entry is very small at the shoulder, but the exit is massive, won't show it , it's ugly
Would have used a lever, but most y'all know bout the eye deal and open sights after dark
Feeling on this, embarrassed cause I ain't killed as many as our friend Nate

Did you skin it? You should be able to find a fur buyer somewhere close to you. Looks like a prime pelt but then you said the exit hole is nasty so might make it less valuable.

It might make it less valuable, but that's not to say it would be worthless.

That's what I love about Savage rifles. Inexpensive but great shooters.
I have a couple of their .22s. Real tack drivers.

Yes a cap, he stopped by this evening to pick up a gobbler I gave him, and told me it would be a cap. When he's done I'll put up a pic, it may take him awhile
