There was one of those 66's on a table at the gun show Friday night, but a 1970 S&W 19-3 in 4" nickel had already depleted the funds. Too many toys, not enough money!!
Those are nice!!
They are not "replicas". "Replicas" are sold in stores that also sell "replicas" of the Millennium Falcon.
Those are Historical Leverguns of Recent Alternative Manufacture.

Yes I reload for the 45/60 as loaded ammo where I live is not available.I cut down 45/70 cases load 60 grains of black powder behind a bullet cast from an original 45/60 bullet mold lubed with spg.I shot this buck with that load in 2014
I especially like the '73 as it appears to have some above average figure in the stock. As for the '76, I was wondering if the round barrel heats up fast and if you have any accuracy issues with a hotter barrel? The reason I ask is that I once had a Winchester NRA Centennial Musket in .30-30 and the barrel would heat up rapidly, causing accuracy to diminish greatly. That's why I finally got rid of it.
Oh, and by the way, that is a dandy buck!
