I got this bad boy in trade. NIB Henry BB Carbine 357. Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to put some rounds through it

Re: New levergun
Congrats. I once traded a Ruger Single Six for a couch... I REALLY needed a couch. Then later, the same guy wanted to trade my homemade dining table for his Marlin 336. I didn't need the dining table, didn't really need the .30-30 if the truth be told, but it was in better shape than the table! I really wanted my Single Six back. But, he'd already traded that for something else.

I like it.......
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
Re: New levergun
Nice. And since someone will soon say they like it except for the tube-loading feature, I'll say part of why I like it is because of it; tube loading is more practical for a hunting gun. The loading gate may be better for a 'combat' gun you need to top-off in a firefight, and rarely unload other than by shooting it...

That looks good....if it's got a lever on it, it's a good trade!

For me, and perhaps only me, I don't find loading tubular mags any harder than loading gates...(and I've never pinched my finger on a tube.)

as far as the loading gate goes, well I like my Winchesters but I also like the 99s & the 88s as well!!
