Feeling good this morning

Post by jnyork »

Got up at 0700 feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed, today I celebrate 23 years of being sober. Hope all of you have a fine day also and Best Wishes to all for a Happy New Year. :)

Very encouraging to read your post. My son has been sober for a little over fourteen months. I also joined him in total abstenence at that time out of support for his decision. Our whole family is very proud of him. Congrats, Jerry.
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.

Congratulations jnyork! I got up at the stroke of 10... after a nite sitting in front of the TV with a Cherry Limeade from Sonic... I certainly qualify as an occasional drinker... I might have as many as two beers a month... That wouldn't be the case if I had access to HMN Rum!

Ain't Life Grand! It's really wonderful to wake up in the morning rather than coming to...

Happy New Year to one and all! I had one small glass of Bailey's Irish Cream at 10pm last night and went to bed. Up at 6am, made breakfast for all. Felling good for an old man also, God Bless.

That is a wonderful thing you are doing to support your son. You will both profit immensely for it.

Sure is fun spending my hootch money on new guns, or old ones for that matter. I was really amazed at how much more money I had to spend after I quit drinking. :D
