What's Wrong With This Picture ?

Does the buttstock look too short (out of proportion), or am I seeing things ?

Maybe it's the large PG diameter that's throwing me off, because if that's a 26" barrel, then the rifle looks to have a fairly normal 13-3/4" LOP.

It does look a little short

I think it`s a combination of too thick of a pistol grip, a longer barrel and a slightly short LOP. If it were mine I might put on a leather pad for both LOP and recoil. I have a couple on these clone 92`s.

The only problem I see with that rifle is... It is not mine!

Only thing I see that is really wrong is that its not in my safe.

Any idea what these are going to run? I cannot find them on any of the websites for sale.

The 26 inch heavy barrel does make the rest of the rifle seem too short. Compare my 26 inch 1886 and see if the proportions are the same as yours:

86 rifles are big. But the people using them aren't any bigger than the ones using a 92 carbine.
This makes the stock look short in comparison. Also, I think the shotgun butt makes them seem shorter because the long toe of the crecent butt is missing.
