I SPENT THE BETTER PART OF WEDNESDAY WITH PACO
We arrived in Tucson later Tuesday and made arrangements to go to Paco's house the next day. When we drove up he was in his shop, waiting for us. We had a great reunion! Very emotional. And then got down to serious lying, swapping yarns, remembering and talking about what is happening in our lives.
He's looking good. He is getting older ... who ain't? Has lost some weight ... has had some medical issues but they are not as big as the emotional issues of losing your wife after 40+ years, though he is handling that well. He has not done much shooting anymore but is still making tools and shipping them. His daughter Courtney .. who we knew as a little kid .. came over. She looks after Paco and drops in all the time to make sure he is doing OK. We spent the better part of the day with them.. ate together .. prayed together .. it was a great time.

I'm happy to hear he's holding up, after/during his trials - could you please pass on our best wishes ?

Thanks Jim!
It sure is good to hear that Paco is doing as well as he can.

Glad you were able to have a visit with him.

You might tell him that I owe a lot to his writings and this forum that he started in my quest to learn and master the great hobby of handloading, among other subjects.

Good news. He is a great guy.
He's influenced and helped far more people than most of us ever will.
