Had to agree with his statement towards the end.
It's humiliating to need that much help, but humbling to know that so many friends would offer it.
He would have been a good man to know.

Jim,
Many thanks for that link!
A wonderful honor for John Taffin! :D
I know that you and Paco were there in spirit.

"I’ve always said there are 4 important things in life.
Faith, Family, Friends & Firearms which all go together to give us freedom."

"Today we are living in a time when we have the best cars, the best guns ever made, but they don’t have a soul.
They’re not classic. They can’t go in a museum. Those old guns are works of art and are a joy to be around.
Them, and people that love them"

Amen!

I Stopped @ Cabela's ,Boise, to try to find dies for my new 308 Marlin Express. Gent comes up ,asks if I need help.. Yessir.. Turns out it was Rick Von der Heide ,who shot his elk in this film with one of those... Turns out he was also teaching at Hillside Jr. High when our youngest was passing through there... Good fellow, and his Taxidermy work is worthy of high mention... Thanks ,Again Jim T.-------------------------
