Paco's Hand and Leverguns

Post by Irascible »

I have the book on a CD as Paco sold them, but I hate reading long writings on the computer. Sooo, I though I would print out the whole book and put it in a loose leaf binder.
Every time I try to print it out, it leaves off the word at the end of each sentence. I tried no border and many other things to fool the printer, but it always does it. Anybody have any ideas?
It would be nice if somebody like Wolfe Publishing picked up the rights and made a book combining the first and second books without the duplicate material though.

What format is the document on the CD?
Which word processor are you using?
How are you getting it from CD to your word processor?

save it to the hard drive as a word document

then work on the borders

look at "print preview" 'till it's right

then print......maybe

Look through your printer controls. Ours has a feature that is "fit to page". When turned on it will automatically adjust the text to fit the paper.

If the document is viewed in a browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or FireFox), then you have to set the font size of the page to a smaller size. Look in the menus on top until you find where font size is. In FireFox for the Mac, go to the view menu, select text size, then selct the size you want so the page will render within the page limits.
