Free Fireworks Display

Post by Shrapnel »

This show would rival any city sponsored fireworks display and it is all done in a driveway of a couple brothers that set the whole works up a day in advance. We have been here 1/2 hour with a constant barrage of fireworks. They just pulled out 2 more platforms from their garage and are getting ready for the second half. I have no idea what this costs, but it has to be well into the thousands $$$

I don't do any display, and worry 'bout the city folks that drive out my road to set theirs off catching my fields on fire. I've actually had a few call the Sheriffs out. It's amusing when the deputy asks if I'm willing to press trespassing charges!

I do enjoy a good show tho'!

Got lucky last night and the "home displays" didn't set off a multi-hour grassfire chase - though we were all waiting for one owing to the dry grass and evening winds... though 1/2 a duplex down the street gutted to the walls.

Humid today and rainy tonight, so we're probably safe.

A blonde from California, while in England, asked a bloke if they celebrated the 4th, or just skipped from the 3rd to the 5th?
