Bird ID

Post by Mossyoak1957 »

Anyone know what kind of bird this is? The pair of them are building a nest in one of my bird houses.
Is it just a run of the mill BLUE BIRD??

My vote is for bluebird.
My wife put up small bird houses for them and we have several pairs here on the farm. Very pretty in the sunlight.

Scarlet Taniger perhaps? Very nice photography, by the way.
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

Eastern Blue Bird, If you can get them to nest they will be back every year. We have a few pair and really enjoy them.

That wood-screw is a unneeded as a perch and an invitation to nosy critters.
