OT Nosler Partion VS Accubond

I looking for some information. I went by Cabela's today to pick up some different types of 358 bullets for my 358win. Well, in my hast to get everything I needed I grabbed a box of 225 gr Accubonds instead of Partitions. My 358win is of course a BLR. So can someone tell me how these two bullets compare? I plan to work up a load for Mule deer but, am looking to make it an all around load for everything from Whitetail to Elk. Will the accubond do this, will I get expansion out to 200 to 250 yards with this bullet? I guessing around 2400 to 2500 fps muzzle velocity with the BLR's short barrel. Well they hold up to an Elk? Will the Accubond be to long for my BLR magazine. I setting in a hotel in MO and don't have any load manuals but plan to use IMR 4895.

I can't comment on the Accubond specifically but several years ago in a moment of weakness I bought a box of Swift Scirrocco's for my 7mm mag. They were 150 grain and I thought too light for elk, anyway they were too expensive to plink with so I went elk hunting. I shot a big bull in the base of the neck from 50 yards and recovered the bullet stuck to the pelvis bone. Perfect mushroom, highly accurate and held together at close range. I also shot a muley buck with the same load broadside through the ribs at about 200 yards. Blew a fist size hole out the other side. Also very accurate, this really sold me on bonded core bullets for performance and accuracy.
That being said Partitions are an excellant bullet as well, either choice is good. And since you've already spent the money for the bonded bullet try them realizing you're gonna have to buy more of which ever you choose.

I shoot the factory winchester 180 accubond in my remington 700 30-06. They are the hammer of Thor on game and will shoot around an inch and a half at 100 yards. Im a big fan of bonded bullets.
