Correct Sights for Winchester 1894 circa 1906

I have a Winchester 1894 32-40 made in 1906. 26" nickel steel oct. barrel. The sights on it don't look correct to me. If I wanted to find factory original standard front & rear sights, what would I be looking for? #22 certain letter code rear? Thanks.

Just because the sights may not look correct to you, keep in mind that (in the 1st quarter of the 20th Century) Winchester was offering as many a 13 different rear barrel iron/open sights, 4 different tang peep sights, and 20 different front sights, in multiple combinations, as factory options for the Model 1894.

I guess I have seen more of the sights like Shasta shows in his pics.
I struggled to get pics of mine this morning with my old camersa that has trouble focusing. While I lay on the excuses, it is something of a blizzard out too.
The front sight is stamped Marbles No. 2. The rear does look like it has been there since flush toilets came to Arkansas.

My .30-30 Rifle ca 1909 has the same sights as Shasta's pictures.

I've never seen a Winchester rear sight with the rounded lobes & especially the vertical screw through the dovetail - It doesn't match any of the pictured/optional sights in the Winchester catalog.

Maybe someone with one of the Old Gunsights book by Nick Stroebel can ID it.

The Model 1894's could have sights made by Winchester, Marble's or Lyman as factory-installed items.

Without spending the entire afternoon writing about the different variations of sights, for about 99% of all standard 1894's, the Winchester 22 rear sight and Winchester 21 front sights were used....as Shasta has posted. The same can be said about 1886's, 1892', and 1895's, and I think, most 1885's.------all in rifle configuration....carbines used their own style.

I seldom see different sights on "standard" rifles that are factory original sights other than the 22. It is somewhat more common to see the optional factory original sights (different) on special order guns as people who ordered special order guns were more gun oriented and knowledgable, therefore wanted tang sights or gold beads...whatever.-----6
