Congratulations! A pot of elk chili sounds good about now :D

I'm about due for another trip to a Texas game ranch to harvest another cow elk for the freezer.

Warhawk where do you hunt in Texas?? I am by Batesville and my son is in Conway, we have talked about this before.

Good hunt I assume? some times getting them to the freezer is the back breaker

I e hunted several different places when I lived down there. I check around, hoping to find someone who has too many cow elk, red deer cows, axis does, etc. I'm a meat hunter, couldn't afford a price of a game ranch bull anyway.

Texas Hunting Forum often has posts from ranches with excess animals.
