Rules for Young Bucks...

Post by Old Ironsights »

All other considerations aside... (Politics, Religion, etc...)

If she don't consider Hoppe's #9 to be Perfume, it ain't gonna work well for ya... unless you have a Garage or buy a Camper/RV fr the sole purpose of being your Gun Maintenance "Room" (just call it tha "Doghouse" and be done wit it...)

(Yes, I'm designing an 8x16x10 custom bumper-pull "work-shed" so I can actually clean my guns/cast boolits in the winter...)
C2N14... because life is not energetic enough.

your "work shed" sounds cool -- i need something similar , only outfitted for light camping for an upcoming Moab trip (mountain biking)

---- regarding Hoppes #9 -- i think its a smell to be tolerated but not enjoyed , much like WD-40 , race gas, and other things like that
------- i like to scrub myself up pretty good when its time for encounters with the ladies - a little pomade, some light after shave , pocket watches -- like a regular English dandy ! :)
Doesnt matter if its my wife --- could be relatives, friends etc., young-old and everything in between --- and its not a "romance " thing for me --- i only have eyes for one in that department --- i just dont want to smell funny to any of them unless i do it on purpose  (Hey sweetheart- Pull my finger !)

My point is, I haven't been allowed to clean a firearm inside 4 walls since 2006... the last time I had a garage.

When I get the plans done, I'll let 'yall know. I'm engineering the trailer/frame now.

I feel for you boys, my wife and I clean our guns, together at the kitchen table. I also smoke in the house. At 77, I'm a throwback, and love it.
We'll be remembered for what we've done, not what we have.

I killed a buck on the first day of our honeymoon (30 years ago). :D
I used to clean BP brass in the house and got to listen to "how bad it stinks" every time.
Now I do all that in my shop.

Nothin like that bothers granny Dot
Got a couple diamond back hides in the frig right now
Just nothin bothers her
I believe I've got the best little wife a man can have
Now that granny Dot thing would get me a look
Now it does take a couple tries to get the right one

Don't forget outriggers on the corners! That way it does'nt rock around while working inside. Make it easier
to level out.
