Will a Marlin 336 butt plate fit a Marlin 1895G?
that's my ? Looking to put a hard plastic butt plate on my guide gun,
anyone know a part number etc, please reply... thanks billy sailorsjeep@yahoo.com

Should be really close but might take fitting.

I did and no one replied, so I modified it to 336 butt plate since it sounds like it would be the most common the change out.

If the replacement's only a tad too big, it's easily filed/sanded down to match the stock.

If it were me, and it has been, in the past - I would either take the old pad with me when I went shopping, or a tracing/outline of the naked butt end on a small piece of paper I keep folded in my wallet, incase I run across one. Wink
