I was wondering what one might be worth. Thanks.

$15-$30 depending on the "letter" stamped on it.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

As you can see, that one's DEFECTIVE, because they put the name upside-down on it. Probably not worth anything, but if you want, I'll take it off your hands and see if I can manage to make it work on one of my guns.

Thanks for the reply(s). No number stamp I can see. Appreciate your offer to relieve me of my burden AJMD429.

There will be a "letter" stamped, on the bottom, side, or top, designating the application.

Well, I looked again. I don't see a letter anywhere on it. Perhaps it has been worn off.

Hey, what are friends and fellow-forum-members for...

The number some spoke of may have been on the under-surface and honed off during someone's sight-fitting. I don't know if Lyman marks them on the 'underside', but some do, and that sometimes is filed down if the dovetail is tight.
