Got the left eye done last Monday

Post by williamranks »

It hasn't finished healing yet because the cornea has a scratch on it but..
Today I tried a couple rifles left handed. The 92 with 24 inch barrel the front firesight is crisp, guide gun is a little fuzzy and the Dan Wesson with a Millet peep rear and a rifle bead is just right if I hold it out one handed.
If he can do that with the right eye I'll be almost as happy as I get.

Best of luck to ya, sir!

Did the surgeon ask at what distance you wanted
your eye to focus best? Or do you have one of those
new flexible lenses?

I went with single focus far. He couldn't tell me where far would start because it depends on what you would be satisfied with for clarity near in. If it doesn't change when the healing is done looks like far starts at 2 feet for my eyes. I can't read fine print at 2 feet but the sight has very little blur and that's good enough for me.
