Post by JerryB »

My grandson Scrateshooter will be working there for a few weeks. He is looking for a S&W model 25 in .45 Colt.

There is a shop close to there, though I am not familiar with it. just down the road aways is Nagles shop in San Antonio, they are a big outfit and likely have the Smith in question. It is on San Pedro Ave.

There's Webers in Temple, McBrides in Austin, and in Waco there's Unique Guns, Praco, Fun Guns. Waco is about 30 mi. N of Temple and Austin is probably 50 or so S. Ought to be able to find one at one of those.

Lampasas is not far away - visit Nate Kiowa Jones

McBride's is also a good choice, and 80 miles closer than SA
many good gun shops keep their inventory online

it would be worth a call to Powder Horn in San Antonio.

Webers isn't cheap but has good inventory. Praco is the only other I'd recommend close by. As an ex employee of Nagels.... skip it.
