Typical major news coverage.

Post by williamranks »

The D Day ceremony is going on right now.
Went to CNN and they're showing a shooting at a courthouse somewhere.
Went to fox and they're showing a lead-in to the horse race tomorrow.
Went to MSNBC and they're showing the ceremony in split screen while the talking heads tell me what I'm seeing and how I should feel about it.
If you want to see the actual ceremony you better have C-SPAN 2.

I've seen quite a bit of coverage on Fox News Channel. Maybe you just weren't there at the right time. I never watch the lefty CNN, and certainly don't waste any time on the ultra-left MSNBC, but I'd be surprised if either of them DID give much coverage to the D-Day anniversary.

Except for when CNN does a breaking story, which they do very well, I only tune to the three of them for entertainment or company if the house is too quite.
They've all decided which market share they want to appeal to and tell that group what they want to hear to get good viewership, sell advertising time and make a profit for the investors.
I remember when the star of the news shows was the news maker, not the news interpreters.

I don't pay much attention to the TV coverage as I mostly read their website, but I actually think CNN does a pretty good job, but they seem to get an undeserved bad name....
