Nice guns both...the 73 was born the same year as my grandpa...just bought the mate to the 94 , 1911 action, model 64 bbl, 32 special, same double proofs, blueing mostly gone for $510..very tight action..haven't shot it yet,,bore is MINT..
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

IMO the Model 1894 looks more like a straight-grip, solid-frame, Model 55 than like a Model 64 - but I guess my main question is: Why isn't it still in your hands ? . :mrgreen:
