Just got home from the skin Doc after surgeries both yesterday AND today. Had a cancer removed from the left temple yesterday... about twice the size of a walnut... skin graft to fill in the divot... Looked like it'd been dug out with a pitchin' wedge! Hence the graft. Took the skin from about right over the clavicle... I told the Doc it shoulda come from a ladies chest... since they're always on my mind anyway! Female resident from Ireland about lost her cool over that one!
Then today they removed the other tumor from the right temple... It only looked as tho' he cut it out with an apple corer! A few stitches and it'll only leave a thin line scar... We conspired at great length of what story it should have... I think we've decided on the sword duel... The other story will have to wait until it's un-bandaged to see just what type of scar it'll leave!
Biopsies both came back that all cancerous tissue is out... not metastasized and fully encapsulated.
FIRST time I ever told the wife that I had a headache...

There is a fine line between hobby & obsession! AND... I'm over it!!
No I ain't ready, but let's do it anyway!
Got a really good scar on my back from the removal of a deep, atypical mole.
I truthfully tell folks that comment on the scar that:
"It's a Knife Wound"... "I'd rather not talk about it..."
C2N14... because life is not energetic enough. מנא, מנא, תקל, ופרסין Daniel 5:25-28... Got 7.62?
Not Depressed enough yet? Go read National Geographic, July 1976 Gott und Gewehr mit uns!
Sounds like the scars could become the basis of a really great bear hunting story. This should be a warning to all the rest on here to get yourself checked if you notice any areas of skin that seem a little different. This could easily have been a really bad situation.

As for a story:
The small one is the entry wound, the large one is the exit wound. Good thing there was nothing vital between the two.

Glad to hear they got it all Griff. Prayers up for your quick healing.
Had a melanoma removed from my right temple and down to the ear a few years back. They didn't prepare us for the huge hole it left but it healed up nicely and only has a little hair missing from that sideburn.
