Mine too, though I did learn a lot from my first marriage. I married a thin, attractive gal the second time.
Me too! I must admit my first wife's biggest problem was a poor choice of husband. I was no treat and made amends to her as I should. However she ain't on any Christmas lists (we had no kids so no contact for decades or as I like to say all my x's are in Saskatchewan and I'm not).
I have learned that if I close my eyes my bride of almost 50 years looks just like she did the day we met, and I tell her so. My mom didn't raise any stupid kids.

I dated a lady that 5'6" and 95lbs, I was like snuggling with a skeleton in a gunny sack. Give me a little extra padding any day.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!
My wife told me to tell her if she ever started to get as big as her mother. So I did. There were a few histrionics, nothing terrible, and she shed the extra weight. The second time was a bit more melodramatic... but she lost the weight.
The last time she simply said, when you get back to 175lbs, like you were when I married ya, I'll get back to the 118 I was that day!
I ain't mentioned it again.
