Does Anyone Know These Boys ?

Post by Pete44ru »

.

Two really mischievous brothers, little Timmy & Ryan are always getting into trouble, and their Mom knows if any mischief occurs in their town, the two boys are probably involved.

The Mom heard that a new preacher in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked him if he would speak with her boys.

The preacher agreed - but asked if he could sit down with them individually.

The mother sent Ryan to him for a morning session; and had Timmy, the older boy, wait until the same afternoon to see the preacher.

The preacher, a huge man with a deep booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly"
"Do you know where God is, son ? "

The Ryan's mouth dropped open, but he made no response - just sitting there, wide-eyed with his mouth hanging open.

So, the preacher repeated the question in an even sterner tone: "Where is God ? !

Again, the Ryan made no attempt to answer.

The preacher then raised his voice even more, and shook his finger in the boy's face, bellowing: "WHERE IS GOD ? ! "

The boy screamed & bolted from the room, ran directly home, & dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him.

When his older brother, Timmy, found him in the closet, he asked him "What happened ? "

The young Ryan, gasping for breath, replied :"We are in BIG trouble this time ! "

"GOD is missing, and they think WE done it!"

Yep, I raised them. Would have been easier, well maybe not, to have had girls. Or maybe one of each. But, let the two of them get out together and something was going to happen.

Dang I miss those times, gonna call those scamps tonight.

Sons are special, so special. I once met a car salesman who had 5 sons. I joked he must be stashing it away for a college fund. With a straight face he said, "No a bail fund."

That was good! I thought you were going to tell the other version of the joke.......the boy said, "yea, I hear my mom screaming "oh God", so I figured he was always hanging out in my mom and dad's bedroom.---6

Sounds like me and one of either 2 cousins when we were growing up. There wasn't much we missed getting into back then. Nowadays I sure miss the one and seldom see the other.

Believe me raising a girl is harder. We had three boys first then a girl. At one point my wife said she would trade the girl for three more boys. ... Ya can't put them back where they came from though. They all turned out fine though.

I had a couple friends like that, we were ok and well behaved when alone. Let us spend more than an hour hanging out and it was like fire and gasoline.

I have two boys.

The oldest one was easy. He's a great kid.
Works two jobs, one full-time and one part-time,
goes to college part-time, and is the youngest
memeber EVAH on the local library board. He's
also won a Spirit of America award for community
service. He just turned 18.

His brother, who is 8, is a holy terror. I love him to
death, and it may, in fact, be my own! He's all boy,
has his own mind, boundless energy, and absolutely
NO FEAR. Loves speed. And heights.
