I picked up a Winchester Model 55 in .32 Special recently & was wondering what model Lyman sight I have, a #21 or a #38? I think the front is a #4. It has the ivory insert. Thanks.

I don't know , but I like it.
I wish they were still made and affordable.

Your picture didn't show the part that matters, the top or right side, but I think you have a 21. I believe the 21's had a friction windage adjustment, the No38's had a screw adjustable windage adjustment like later common receiver peep sights.

Right. Looks like a 21 as far as I can tell. Funny thing about those 55's. 95% of all I have laid my hands on had that typical flaking of the blue.Malamute wrote:Your picture didn't show the part that matters, the top or right side, but I think you have a 21.
