A lot of folks don't like him because he killed John Wayne in "The Cowboys" but I have always liked Bruce Dern in Westerns.
One of my favorites is "Harry Tracy" He carries two different winchesters in that movie.
A 73 winchester in the early escape from the train part and a model 92 for the after escaping from the Oregon penn.
One of my favorite movies.
Of Course Val Kilmer as Doc holiday and Kurt Russel.
Tombstone is one of my favorite movies.
Gene Hackman plays a pretty good good Sadistic good/bad guy in "unforgiven" as well.

Lots of 'em, as I grew up watching Westerns and Tarzan (johnny Weismueller) movies nearly every weekend.
... but the Biggies are listed in my "by-line" at the bottom.
John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda and Winchesters. I'm a kid again.

Twenty-three years ago, watching Cheyenne Social Club... when Jimmy Stewart was reading the list of the Names of the girls... I said "THAT'S IT".
We named my baby daughter after one of the girls. Never regretted it.

Did a search for western movies on line and found some public domain ones, and heres a link to "the outlaw" 1943 movie with Jane Russell. Its a classic and its got some bits in it that will have you in fits of laughter.
