OT - A Shot in the Dark

Does anyone on the board have any type of connections to the textile industry or garment industry?

I'm starting a new career in the twilight years of my law enforcement career but need a few leads to help get the wheels rolling in this new area.

Not quite.... I have actually designed a revolutionary piece of police/armed civilian safety gear that is approx 3 wks from being patent pending status. But now I need to start finding manufacturing companies...

Besides its harder than heck to find a pair of tights that look good with a peg leg....LOL

I used to have a customer that was in the specialty end of the textile industry. A company called "Virkler" in Charlotte, NC. You may give them a call. Unfortunately my contact retired many years ago and moved to New Zealand!
