A left-wing Jewish publication more than a century old asks why so many Jews are anti-gun, and does a good, fair job of answering the question?

That, my friend, is a very good and thoughtful article. I like the change in name from 'Assault rifle' to 'Jewish Defense rifle'. However, more than just Jews need to take that article to heart. The probability is extremely high that somewhere between 20 and 25 years from now, another holocaust is coming. This one will be global and worse than anything humanity has ever seen.

I also believe another holocaust is coming, but I don't think it will have anything to do with ethnicity.

I hope your correct.......But, it will be global and it will be muslim.....The radical muzlims need the world dystroyed by fire for their imam to show up and save everyone, or something like that.....All non-believers to be toasted. I intend to bring an EBR, lots of ammo and marshmellos.......

I have never understood why Jews or Blacks were anti-gun. BOTH celebrate armed resistance to tyrannical/murderous authority.

I tend to agree with those who say we are gonna have a world wide war. And I agree it will involve lots of muslims.

What I will say if it doesn't happen soon, I'll just have to sit on my porch in my rocking chair and watch the fiasco. I'll be too old to do much else.

There is no question about it and I certainly agree with several of the previous posters that another holacost is coming.

I further agree that it will not be based on ethnic issues and hatred but on religion.

It will be led by militant islamists who will be blindly and ardently followed by the rest of the islamic world against all others of this world who do not pray to allah and who do not practise the muslim religion.

Well, in my book, the islamists are headed for (and, perhand they are already in) a big, big fight which they will loose.

Kirk, I think you have this one pegged spot on. All of us with young kids should be thinking about training them in the use of firearms, not only for the shear joy of doing so - not only to perpetuate our freedoms and hobby - but as a means to save their lives. I fear they will need to use them for such, as I do not see Islamofacism ever stopping until it - and them - are extinguished entirely...

Having gone to school in California for a number of years, my blood starts to run cold when I hear the word.

Good comments on this. I think we're seeing some brief, brilliant flashes of rational thought out there in the media, which is good. Still isolated, but some folks are starting to question the rehashed socialism that they have been fed for the past 30 years. Keep up the good fight fellas.
