GBO Forum down?

Post by TedH »

I noticed tonight that I'm not able to get on the Greybeard forum. When I click on the link I had saved in my favorites it takes me to a search results page from my internet provider. I went to the GBO home page, and found the link there for the forum and that link takes me to the same search result page. Is it just me, or is their something wrong with their forum?

I stopped looking in there, after I picked up a virus there.

I don't normally go there either, but I remembered there was a pretty good sticky there that had info on what front sights worked with the WGRS peep sight on the handi's.

I find that forum a bit much some times but it is the Handi site like this one is the lever site in my favourites. I seem to remember a note about a server upgrade or change notice recently but no memory of when or the details.

My link just timed out.

Yep, the Handi-rifle section is the only reason I ever visit anymore, and that is very rarely.

Not long ago they switched servers and lost quite a bit of data. There was a note that they were trying to recover what they could. It seemed that they lost everything from the day they switched over back about 8 months. 8 months and older was still there but the recent posts were gone.

I'm sure it's a nightmare. :(

You mean it wasn't banning dozens and dozens of people for having the audacity to post on other websites?
