Looks like a great hunting trip like my dad used to take when I was little.

Thank you for that! It was awesome. Those were great times. I love hunting with my Model 71. Have experienced the same effect on the game I have taken with it. I wish I could have used the silver tips but the Hornadys did well by me. I hope I can do a hunt like that someday.
Thanks again. 348 is an awesome cartridge. Now off to dream land to hunt the elusive moose.

What a dandy trip back in time. Imagine, a border crossing with no guards, and taking your guns across without harassment!

Fake video, a .348 is too light for moose . Thanks, really enjoyed it.

That was really neat. The good ole days........
Reminded me of shooting my moose with my 71. I used handloaded Hornady's and believe me it was plenty! What a cannon.

I have been to a Hunting/Fishing camp in Ontario many times over the years. they have a picture book (about 4" thick) going back to the late 20's. most of the Guys look just like in the movie. .

Thank you for posting that. As I watched the short movie I could imagine myself in the setting. I do have a sense of nostalgia.
