What is this Brady and Manning you speak of? Is it something of importance?

Game...?

That's really all it is -- played by inconsequential, spoiled little boys -- under the guise of being something of importance..

Folks would do well to consider that the NFL earned $9 BILLION this year.

Game ? Yes

Inconsequential ? I-don't-think-so.

Amount of money made - not inconsequential.

Amount of impact on Reality? Given how much productivity is lost to "watercooler" yammering about Sports... DEFINITELY not inconsequential.

One of the greatest time wasting, productivity diminishing, useless excuses for an inactive pastime (TV watching) ever invented.

Only thing worse IMO is youth (HS) Wrestling...
C2N14... because life is not energetic enough.

Otherwise, what might become known... ?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

As I keep telling my friend, who's a Cowboy FANatic, football is for boys, Rugby is played by MEN. The best part of Football are the commercials during the Super Bowl... the rest is meaningless.

Nine billion bucks is certainly a significant amount to earn. But, does not the IRS still list the NFL as a non-profit org.? What's with that?

The NFL -- not the individual teams -- is treated as a non-profit, a practice that Senator Tom Coburn would end:
