Having a blast at latest job

Post by Paladin »

What happens when you set off 4 pounds of TNT under a 2006 Chevy Suburban.
Testing sensors for a government contract to keep the kids safer. Vehicles must be 2005 or newer charges started at 1 pound stop at 40 not much left after 4. Sorry for the lack of information. I will try to edit the video and share it I titled it how to make a chevy jump.

I love the metallic clang sound of C4 blowing up. It was fun back in the day when I was paid by Uncle Sam.

Some parts anyway. I didn't get to blow up much in the Army, but what I got to do was fun. We didn't have alcohol on duty, but we certainly did do the TFE part of BATFE. Most of the soldiers smoked, we had firearms, and explosives. It may have been a lot of discipline, a lot of boredom, and a lot of hard work when the ruck was on your back, but it had its perks.

I did a 500lb VBIED on Gamp Guernsey for a WMD exercise about 2 years ago. Got the vid on DVD somewhere. Interesting debris field. The concrete barrier next to the car simply disappeared. The engine block went 75 yards. One of the two cars "parked" near the VBIED was bent cleanly in half.

Fun day.

Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes.
