Don Tomas, that was good! I heard about this on the news last nite. What a crock! Unfortunately, she just proved herself to fit the stereotypical politician = liar. I know that not all are; but just like other stereotypes, enough are to justify the stereotype.

hillary
Did she put herself in for three purple hearts so she could be removed from that theater of combat?
Go back and watch it again. Nowhere in that segment will you hear the words....Sixgun wrote:That was goodand I must say I was surprised that CBS was the exposer
THE TRUTH

Now here's a great image of our next president. Our enemies must be just terrified!

She doesn't get it. They didn't get it when her husband was in office, and they still don't get it today.
Slow is just slow.

The daughter is a chip off the old block - it is none of our business if Hillary's lies afffect her credibility in her opinion. Maybe so but if you are out campaigning at 28 you should know that even your supporters won't buy that one. I was neutral on Chelsea until now but it appears she is one of them.

What's the Cliff Notes version for those without the time to d/l and watch it?

cas, I love it! I've proclaimed before to be a curmudgeon in training and future dirty old man...cas wrote:Part time recluse. Active misanthrope. Future hermit.

Really Baby, I swear that it just followed me home.
Basically video of her giving a speech telling how on the Bosnia trip she had to run from the airplane to cover under sniper fire.awp101 wrote:What's the Cliff Notes version for those without the time to d/l and watch it?
Then video of said event in Bosnia, her in a glad handing photo op, like she was out for a stroll in the park. Kissing hands and shaking babies.

That's just because Chelsea is thinking about her own run in another 20 years!Old Savage wrote:The daughter is a chip off the old block - it is none of our business if Hillary's lies afffect her credibility in her opinion. game keeper - you have a tremendous grasp on the politics of the US - and an uncanny judgment on the character - or lack therein - of those running for office here!!!

There is very little that the Clintons do that surprises me. They have always had a crooked track record. Anyone here can look at that.
What boggles my mind is how many people are stupid enough to support her. I still believe in what George Washington said about the most fundamental quality to serve as president, character.

Politics always amazes me, but for the life of me I can't understand how this woman just keeps on going and going. Where is the appeal?, the righteousness?, the good?, where is anything that our country needs?. Why would the rich people, that have so much money to burn, set down and write a check for 10's of thousands to hand to these rotten people, in order for them to keep up their work of hammering our country? My dad always had a saying, "every dog has his day"------I hope one day I see the Clintons setting on the side of the road, and their day has arrived.
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.

Ouch. We do have some ladies on the forum, including one that just joined. That was a little brutal. Besides, in Hillary's case, unless she hired it done, who would do it?Greg807 wrote:Really can a woman pick up the phone after a good Hard pounding and make a life and death decision about the American military? I don't think so ....Dont we have to consider everything?

I'm 43. I figure if God blesses me with an average life span I will see both a woman President and a black President - and perhaps both (a black woman President) in my lifetime. I just hope it is not in 2009!
I have no problems with either of these. I have had two women Presidents already - Marion Hammer and Sandra Froman!

What I can't for the life of me figure out is why any woman would want Hillary, let alone vote for her, as their first female President. This isn't a grand slam for feminism - it is a joke. The woman got everything she has in life by sleeping with her husband (a nicer way to say what was said before). She is hardly a role model for feminism. And if, God-forbid, she gets elected, her policies will be disasterous, and it will be the last time a woman is elected President for decades - if not my entire life time. It will set women back years - decades.
Same applies for Barack and blacks. Some would vote for a turnip if it had an afro (just as some militant feminists would vote for a female anything - person, dog, rodent, etc.). An Obama presidency, given his stated policies and experience, would end up in just as much of a disaster as another Clinton presidency, and it will be decades again before the nation trusts a black person with the role. This would be a shame in either case.
I'm Roman Catholic, though not a perfect practioner of the religion. When John Kerry ran I not only didn't remotely consider that moron eligible for my vote, but I worked harder than ever to make sure he didn't get as many votes as possible from my friends and family. Not hardly because Bush was a perfect candidate - rather, Kerry wasn't qualified, his policies would hurt the country, and I must admit part of me would like to see the day when Catholics are trusted with the presidency in rough proportion to their percentage in society - and that wouldn't happen any sooner by electing an idiot who happens to be, on paper anyway, Catholic. I would also like to see the day when other groups attain higher office and other leadership positions in proportion to their percentage in society - not due to any force or "political affirmative action", but just because we, as a society have moved well beyond such considerations and finally judge people on their true character and what they believe, not what they look like or what body parts they have or don't have (that being said, since most women drop out of the work force or politics during their child-bearing and raising years - or at least cut back their activities, they will never hit the same number as their percentage in society - nor should they. Truth hurts - accept it).
Sorry for the long rant...
