OH ME OH ME OH MY

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!
Good looking country there -- I grew up in that kind of country. Even went to 4th and 5th grad in Walnut Grove, south of Prescott on the great Hasayampa River.
Thor take that picture?

Prescott is as close as I'll admit to seein' as it belongs to Mescalero.....If I move someday, I think this area around here is "it".....Great VA hospital there (which, as I age somewhat poorly, is important ....this Old Age Pelosi sucks )

I think you will like it better than Wyoming.
If you do it, me, you and John will have to party.
I make a MEAN brisket.
I remember working out of Prescott one summer, maybe 1990 or so. There was an Italian restaurant downtown across from the old courthouse, had peanut shells all over the floor. I don't remember the food, but I remember the atmosphere
I loved that they had no parking meters there on the plaza either. Just cut off pipes with iron horse heads on them. I could only guess they had meters and took them out. I bet they're back now.
Generally speaking, I don't like "town".....I could make an exception for Prescott......I expect though, that I'll be out of town 20 or 30 minutes on as many acres as I can afford....Someone else will have already put up an exceptionally well insulated Single wide, out building, and water/power/septic.....backed up to open public land would be nice....Glimpsing around on the net, that could be done with 150,000 cash...half that for less land......Neighbors usually irritate me to no end....

Blaine - Keep on checking out that area. Really nice part of the world. Something's bound to show up that will work for you, your need for privacy and budget

It's probably long gone by now. Last time I was in Prescott I didn't look for it, my wife wanted to go eat at some fancy place on the street where it all burned down a few years ago.... that was Prescott right? I may be mixing it up with another tourist town.

Yup, now I remember. Couldn't remember the street name, and couldn't remember the similarly named street in Bisbee (Brewery Gulch).... I had to go look up the Bisbee one
