I saw a like new Marlin 94 cowboy classic in 44-40 today in my local gun shop. It had a 20 inch Octagon barrel and straight stock. He wanted 429.00 for it. Is that good?

You are lucky you found it and not me...I would have dislocated my shoulder with the ninja move getting my wallet out.

Not sure I would have even tried to haggle, but it would have went home with me one way or another.

Excellent price for a pretty rare gun. It would be a hoot to shoot as well.

No kidding, I'd be all over that like white on rice! I'dve delayed a couple of projects for it...

What a deal, go get it before it grows wings and flies out of the shop.
If you dont get it let me know where it is, I think that I could find it a good home.
Really Baby, I swear that it just followed me home.
