Quick Introduction

Post by Cheyenne »

Hi There,

I just registered for this site and wanted to make a quick introduction to you all. I have lurked around this site for a while but I want to become more involved in the community so I decided to officially sign up.

Anyway, I operate a small business which allows me to spend a good deal of my time learning about hunting and firearms. I have already learned a lot from this message board and now that I am a participant I hope to learn a great deal more and possibly help some people with the stuff I have picked up.

I look forward to future discussions.

-Jeff (I took my user name from a character from "Once Upon A Time In the West", in case anyone was wondering)

Image and since you're from "western" PA, and should, rightfully so, be embarrassed by that fellar from the "East"... with his wildly extravagent claims... So, for the present we'll overlook that, and Welcome you to THE Forum.

Welcome. Much to learn here, and at least 10% of it is about leverguns...

Also covered: SA revolvers, DA revolvers, 1911's, Garands, and other 'acceptably classic' semiautos, bolt action rifles, single shots, cannons, soul-less plastic guns (AR-15's, AR-10's, and Glocks), horses, trucks, boats, welding, dogs, tractors, gardening, fishing, and about any other 'manly' or 'outdoorsy' thing you can think of. There's even a section for the rowdy folks who want to discuss politics and religion... :o

The common theme IS leverguns, though.

  yea Cheyenne, be careful from those guys from Texas. I hear they have been recruiting guys from Pennsylvania to teach them how to shoot! :D

Wild extravagant claims???? What's so hard about shooting a fly off the wall at 200 meters with a .22 short shot from a .22 smooth bore? :D

We have lots of fun here.-----sixgun

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am actually a recent transplant to PA having spent the past few years in CA and CO, but I went to college here in Western PA and decided to come back for a while.

My interest and appetite for leverguns and revolvers has far outpaced my ability to acquire them, so at this point my arsenal is pretty simple. I just have a Browning BL-22 and a 3-screw Ruger Blackhawk in .357 Magnum for now, but the wish-list is getting mighty long. I wish I had a camera to snap a few pictures, but all I have is my phone, which might make some eyes bleed, so I will spare you guys for the time being.

Thanks again
