I thought you were on restriction and under a sharp object injunction? Just don't get involved with chainsaws because they really do make a slash up job of it.

I'm usually ok with sharp objects....It's hand tools and the damage to equipment and wood that usually suffers....

I cut my right thumb pretty badly one time while putting a shed together. That stamped metal has some sharp edges. The feeling did eventually come back, but it took over 5 years.

My hands are so covered in scars.. I used to have a blog segment called "How did I hurt my self THIS weekend."

Thumb pinched between car and jack stand
Sharp downward knife chop towards flintstone that missed by two inches and got the thumb
Finger smashed to pulp while stacking wood
Wrist sliced why falling off a wall
Nails
Burns
Splinters... oh the splinters.....

Ah, memories....

Can't even read FatJack's post but when I slid across the hardwood floor in socks and the three inch splinter went in and the back end broke off they slices the bottom of my foot open and did not stitch it saying it would heal better that way. Can't find now where that happened so guess they were right.

The no slip coating is important. Plain Kevlar polishes up and you can't hang on to nothin.
