Gun/Knife combo - the Sixer challenge!
OK boys here it is - 6 has invited you to step up and I add show us a lever to make the whole thing "street legal" anywhere.
OK OS, forget the other stuff....on to Barlows.....I remember them well when I was a kid. Store counters usually had a display of them for like .99 cents...........junk. Well, they were OK if you wanted to open a beer bottle or stab a frog. Me? I'm a man of quality and I got this knife from the Gookey catalog when I was 12 years old........still have it 47 years later.----6
Old Timer, Benchmade, Colt, Uzi....quality...no Barlows here.

Re: Gun/Knife combo - the Sixer challenge!
OS,
Did you see the last post I made? .....I'm still very excited.
Looking for soldering paste and I find a BARLOW KNIFE!! Weird, ain't it?? Talk about timing!!!! That Barlow must have been in that drawer since I had the house built in 1975 and I was transferring my boyhood junk from my Dad's house to here.
I''ll repost the pics....If you want that knife, PM me your address and I'll get it out to you tomorrow.--------6
The Barlow, custom job, and a few old Colts
Barlow with his contemporary buddy, a 10" Ruger
I have no idea who "NH" is.....'Ya think it was Nathanial Hawthorne???

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

It figures that Sixgun would figure out how to mount a peep sight to a knife.

Re: Gun/Knife combo - the Sixer challenge!
When I get the chance...
TC Flintlock & Puma drop point folder
Savage 99C & Gerber gut-hook hunting folder
The .357, .410 & .45/70 Levers get the Canada Knife/1858 belt combo
The Shotguns get my other Bird & Trout scalpel
The NAA .32 Guardian goes with one of my "street folders"
The only guns I really don't have matched up is the .410 Snake Charmer & the 10-22... which get whatever blade or two I have on me at the time - usually a Havalon Piranta (scalpel blade), a Gerber box-knife folder &/or a serrated folder of some type...

Any number of shooters I could team up with this one...
NIB, Never sharpened, late 1950s Kabar......All the men got a knife that year. Mine was my first Cub Scout knife.....My Uncle got this one, and never used it....

Griff, slim line trapper - got a couple but I think mine are single blade, Boker and Case.
Re: Gun/Knife combo - the Sixer challenge!
EKA Little Swede and my Ruger Blackhawk. That Little Swede is 38 years old and holds an edge very well. I have carried that combo a few times and really like it. The Blackhawk is loaded and I knew it when taking the picture.
