Coffee Break: A nice video of Alberta, Canada
Here it is boys. Figured those of you stuck in the city might like to take a short break. Lean back with a coffee, put your feet up, and enjoy yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=ThFCg0tBDck

To cold for me I like my swamps heat and mosquitoes thank. But it is nice when its warm up there. Being a Florida cracker I see a lot of license tags from Alberta, Canada in the winter months. Thanks for the nice video.

Re: Coffee Break: A nice video of Alberta, Canada
I love western and prairie Canada. My sister married a Canadian and has lived in Edam, Sask for over 35 years now. Beautiful country in the summer when I have been there. I helped drive truck during the wheat harvest a few different years when I have been there. Up at 6 am and they are still running the combines at 11:30 pm. Drive the truck from field to the grain bins and run the auger to get it up in. Come to think about it never got much recreation when I was there, but I had a ball helping out. Now the winters at 40 below might be a different story. Never been east of Sask so I can't comment on that part.

Yep. I grew up with Cree Indians (went to school with them, worked with them on my Dad's farm, and an Indian neighbour my age was one of my buddies).Mescalero wrote:Holy Carp Kirk,

As for whether Canadian girls are really that pretty, I suspect there was some selection going on for that particular video, but some are even prettier ..... like the one I married who is none other than The Queen of Hearts. If you want to see more Canadian girls, my sister wrote a song about them that is on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NewavYMHN9Q

I had the same experience with the Mescalero, except we did NOT go to the same school.
Seems the government had a different plan.

Very nice. We spend the 6 months of winter in Yuma and it seems half of Alberta must be down there with us. Several of the folks shoot in our gun club, always interesting to listen to the tales of what all they have to go through to get their rifles and shotguns back and forth across the border.

Canada is a nice place to visit. And, that was one of the best tourism videos I've ever seen. Gotta get back up there.

Great photos! I'll be in Alberta in less than two weeks for a family reunion and wedding (Sherwood Park).
