I heard they are having a celebration of life and time's for Bob Munden at the Butte MT. gun club today.
I did not know that he had passed on last Dec.

Yes, he has passed on. I somehow doubt that there will be another quite like him. Anyone whose hand moves fast enough to have 10 times the force of gravity on it is in a class by himself.

A sad loss. Absolutely amazing. We enjoyed watching all of his fast draws. Maybe the good Lord will have Bob as one of the four horsemen. He would certainly outgun anything the Devil could put up.

I had the good pleasure at the 1974 NRA Convention in Atlanta of meeting several "gun celebrities" First was Elmer Keith, Roy Weatherby and Bob Munden. Watching him actually perform indoors with what I surmise were wax bullets and his then Hawes six shooter was mind boggling at the speed he drew from the holster and busted six balloons before you could take a breath. In fact, I never saw h is hand move...absolutely incredible and wouldn't have believed the story had I not seen it personally. He would have given John Wesley Hardin or Bill Hickok a rough time.

I only ever got to see him on TV and I always thought that he was amazing to watch. I could not believe how fast his hands were.
