FS in PA Browning model 71 348

Post by elroy63 »

I have a nice model 71 browning that I am considering selling. Very nice condition, small dent in forearm wood. Very accurate rifle, shot mostly cast bullets from Lyman 350477 mold. I do not know what these rifles are going for, Any advice would be appreciated. Considering selling the rifle to pay for another gun.

Greetings
Generaly when I am looking for prices I go to Gunbroker and see what rifles are actually selling for. Have not looked at model 71's in a while but the last I saw was around the $1200 area. Many were priced alot more with no bidders or the "secret" reserve price was never met.

Well I would probably sell it for 1200 dollar range. I would throw in a mold and sizer de, 3k gas checks plus I have 200 new brass and couple hundred bullets for that price. It's a hell of a nice rifle, I hate to sell it, but my buddy is offering an extremely nice 1911 , so something else has to go.

I think that with the extras that $1200 looks pretty fair. I didn't pay quite that much for my carbine which was NIB but then again I shopped quite a while for it.

.

I would suggest our classified section a better spot for your needs, vis-a-vis the M71, than here. (With pics, of course)

Welcome aboard. Should have no problem selling your rifle and getting info on it here.

Pete, it was in classified, a mod must have moved it here. 3leg/Todd

Sell the extras separately. Like e-mail or PM me your asking price for the mould, gas checks and sizing die and I'll get a postal money order out to you pronto. :D See? Half of your headaches are already over with. :D ------------Sixgun

One asks questions and discusses in General Discussion, strictly SALES, TRADES and AUCTION ALERTS in the Classifieds. This STARTED as a question.
